If you are a dieter that is trying to lose weight, then there is only one thing on your mind: what is the quickest way to lose weight. Just like everything in life, we want it fast. With that said, in my mind there are really only two things that need to be done in order to lose weight quickly.

The first is exercise, although it is possible to lose weight without having to exercise, if you want to lose weight quickly then you will need to kick your butt into gear. The whole idea of quick weight loss is lose weight as fast as possible, so this would obviously require the use of exercise.

You should aim for cardiovascular exercise, which includes: running, swimming and cycling. If you use all these together, then you should be able to easily lose weight.

Another tip to keep in mind would be resistance training, also known as, weight training. If you regularly lift weights, then you should have no trouble keeping the weight off. If you do not currently lift weights, then you should consider starting. Essentially, if you lift weights and do not eat food afterwards, your metabolic rate will increase. Since you are not eating anything, then you can expect fat to be burned off instead.

Your metabolic rate will remain increased for hours after you have finished, which is a good thing for somebody trying to lose weight quickly.

The second part on your road to determining the quickest way to lose weight, would have to be diet. The way we lose weight is quite simple, it is all caused by an energy imbalance. We need to have your body burning more energy than it is consuming, this would cause the body to use your stored fat as an energy source. Thus, you will lose weight.

You should aim to reduce all your intake of sugar – especially added sugar in tea and coffee. I guarantee that such an omission will greatly increase the rate at which you can lose weight.

You should also limit the intake of saturated fat and carbohydrates, although they are required in your diet to some extent, eating too much will make weight loss impossible.
